FST-2XT

One controller – unlimited applications

The FST-2XT is designed for use in hydraulic and traction lifts and can handle the different challenges covering the entire range of installations from small to very large. Thanks to its modular design, the FST-2XT is unbeatable both in standard applications as well as with special solutions as it can be expanded nearly limitlessly, making it very flexible and highly customisable. The FST-2XT is mechanically and electrically compatible with the prior FST-2. On the large colour TFT display, the FST-2XT Guide displays important information regarding, among other things, the currently selected menu item.

FST-2XTS

Unlimited performance in the smallest possible space

The slim version of the proven NEW LIFT control system was developed especially for use in door frames. This is made possible by its extremely narrow width of just 106 mm (mounting plate 120 mm). In addition, all FST-2XTs operating elements are designed with respect to size and position so as to facilitate easy operation through small access openings.

NEW LIFT offers the FST-2 MRL controller package for lift systems without machine rooms. The compact design of the FST-2 MRL package allows for installation in the recess next to the top or bottom shaft door. Our standardized production guarantees a cost efficient product with the highest quality.

Especially for cable lifts with machine room, NEW LIFT offers the FST-2XT MOD, a modernisation package with interfaces for nearly all existing components such as drives, door controllers and shaft installation.

Up to now, the modernisation of hydraulic lifts usually involved a costly replacement of the hydraulic unit. 

The reason: Old mechanical control blocks do not satisfy current requirements on levelling, energy consumption and drive comfort in any way. Even regulated control blocks, whose pumps need to run with soft-start devices, are frequently replaced with modern, frequency-controlled blocks or retrofitted with energy-hungry oil coolers.In cooperation with the company ZIEHL-ABEGG, NEW LIFT has developed a modernisation concept that eliminates all of these disadvantages while keeping the existing hydraulic unit. A special pseudo-closed-loop process with state-of-the-art DCP04 communication between control system and frequency inverter enables the frequency-controlled operation of the old pump without intervening in the hydraulic system.

Ever larger office complexes and public buildings result in increased traffic volumes and pose new challenges for operators and lift manufacturers. Particularly in busy high rises, lift systems are pushed to their limits during peak traffic times. The result: overfilled cars, long wait times and unnerved passengers. Previous approaches for finding a solution concentrated on two aspects in particular: increased car speed and a larger number of group members. These possibilities have their limits as well, however.
